Beeping a old campground, and digging almost everything learning the EQ800 - I dug my oldest tent stake!

Made of square stock with a nice hook and a couple twists, it so much cooler than the 100 or so cheepies I've pulled.

Sure looks hand forged .. That is a unique find! If not unique, it certainly is unusual! Cool find!

Cool find. Nice tent stake.

I like about anything hand forged.....good find. How old is the campground?

Nice find. Sure beats the ones they use today.

I had a Coleman canvas tent back in the 70's. The stakes were exactly like that.

You beat me to it!
But , I still have the tent...:laughing7: An 8x10.
Stakes get wrapped in the scrap of canvas they came with before storing.

I have found late 1800's coins there - folks been camping/fishing there forever as salmon stack below the falls. Neighbor got nice NA points sifting in the 50's.

Ah, bummer - googled vintage tent stakes - yep, not as old as I hoped - still better than plastic ones!

That's right! Rolled in a square of canvas. Mine was the same size. Myself, my wife, my three little daughters, arranged like sardines. Memories.

Nice find even if not as old as thought
