They don't come easy for me. Plus pictured another nice coin find with the 1827 Capped Bust Dime.

You took nearly 20 years after joining Treasurenet and staying silent all those years until today to share this? What changed? 😅

I wasn't silent all those years. Then I got away from detecting and then went silent.

Most of my posting was on Troys Shadow Forum however but I was here as well and a couple others. Long story that made me take that break from MD'ing. But thanks for noticing and bringing that up to clear the air.

Well, it is a nice collection of Spanish silvers, it's actually quite an impressive collection, some people never find any, is that an 8 reale or a 4 in the center?

1804 8 Reale. Old homestead find. Was actually finding very little other than trash. Kids had learned about the place and drank beer there. Way back off the road and had to know about it. I thought my signal was another beer can and thrust my shovel down hard. When I saw that silver rim I hoped I had not damaged it. I was lucky. Other pieces came from plowed fields in old Scottish areas of Moore County here in NC.

Very, very cool assortment of coins and interesting story of how a once in a while what we expect to be just another beer can turns into a find of a lifetime.
