My second 1800's Trifecta!

I hit the same late 1700's home site again yesterday where I got my first trifecta (see previous post) and managed to pull out another one-cent trifecta; a 1826 Large Cent (my 4th LC from this site), a 1858 Flying Eagle (my third), and a 1859 Indian Head (my first fatty!). This place just keeps giving up the old coppers!

Nice haul! You have a great site to hunt there.

You got to love any trifecta. The soil there is bad on copper

congrats! I never found an 1859 IHC (a one year type)

You just about have to chisel them out of the red clay here in Virginia.

Another really great hunt.

Congrats Tommy!

that Flying eagle has some detail on it - good finds!

Congrats on some awesome finds.:icon_thumright:

Thanks for the tip, testing 123. I looked it up in the red book and read about the laurel/oak wreath change after 1859. I learn something every day thanks to folks like you. Now I wish it had been in better condition!

Great group of finds. We have some similar finds in our most recent posts. Keep up the good work!
