That's a pretty cool ring, and of course the IH is great!

Nice one! That IH looks in good shape!

I think I have the very same ring somewhere.
WTG!

I like that you give some to the land owner, sometimes that's hard to do. I remember way back, letting a landowner pick from the spread and he picked the 1898 IH and it about killed me. It was my first 1800's coin but in the end I felt good about it and was welcomed back as a result. Nice one you got there.

Great finds.
Great way to wind up your season too.

Congrats.

The homeowner had to leave soon after I started, and I could tell she was wanting to keep some of the things like the bell that she could connect to her grandfather who built the house in 1902. I left the stuff on her porch with a note, but I wanted to clean up the ring and get some pictures. I'll return it to her in person, maybe she lost it! The one thing I'm going to keep is the IH cent. Here is a pic of the rest of the goods, pic finally loaded to my photo stream, so here it is.

Nice hunt, good finds. I love those Indian Head Cents.

Too bad about your "end is near" could happen here soon too. At least you went out with some keepers.
