We did a good 6-7 hours of hunting the last three days and did well ! On Friday we hunt three school fields and both found a junk kids ring . It's my 83rd and Carson's 4th of 2013 . I found the only silver that hunt , a 1943 Washington quarter . It was right in the grass and really surprised me
. That hunt Carson found $5.17 and I found $13.70 in clad ! I also found a large old button , very cool looking no idea what it is . Any ideas ?
This morning we meet up with eagleforce and hunt two schools . The first looks to be over 100 years old ! The field has been re done so Carson thought he might try the dirt along the edge of the grass . Well in the first 30 minutes he looked over to me and yelled out Mercury dime ! It was just under the dirt maybe a 1/4 inch ! It's a nice looking 1941 . Then he started popping out some wheats in the same area , 1946S & 1951S . He was on FIRE
! I found one wheat , 1944S and a small sterling ear ring at the first school and two more wheats , 1952S & 1952D , at the 2nd school . Carson found $4.83 and I found $15.24 in clad . I hope eagleforce posts his nice silver item he found ! We all had a great hunt
.
