Out with a buddy yesterday beating up the spot he found that stupid silver fire department badge. We didn’t find much out of the ordinary, he found a 1942 Washington quarter and a 1900 Barber dime and a bunch of clad I found a 1848 Braided hair large cent and what I thought was a IHC, when I got home I took a closer look at the IHC and it turned out to be a 1863 civil war token, a first for me.

Very Cool!!!! Congrats!!!!

That's a nice find Joe, I always check my Indian Heads, and amazingly enough, a few have turned out to be Flying Eagles ! Never had one turn out to be a Civil War token though.
