My son found some oldies.

My son went out on his own last week and brought these oldies home. The flask bottle has a cork top with the federal law stamp on it. The clear one also has the stamp but is a twist top. Any clue what the measurement bottle was used for?

Thanks FFD! I am trying to figure out why they would emboss 1/2 cup twice on the bottle. Very strange. anybody have any ideas?
