This is my treasure! My Granddaughter Athena. Sure wish she lived closer but Afton my daughter in law updates my pictures about every other day and as soon as my son is deployed Afton and Athena will come spend some time here and I can spoil her like a good grandma!

I think so I am sure glad Afton keeps new pictures sent to me all the time. She is four months old and she was only a week old the last time I saw her in person. Doug called Mother's day and tried to get her to "talk" to me....said she was telling fish stories all morning about climbing mountains and slaying dragons but all she would do when he put the phone to her ear and said say hi to grandma was grin ear to ear! lol Very sweet of him to think to call and also to make sure I am as much a part of her life as I can be from here. I think they are all pretty special
