My trx will only get 2"-3" on level 4...problem? Or is this it?

Have it set on level 4 and did the grab ...no matter what I do even a quarter will only pick up at about 3" at the most probly less than that...anybody else have better depth then this?

Are you grabbing in air, and testing in air? That's where you get the max. If I grab ground surface, 3 inches is about all I get also.

3" is about it on a coin sized object in the dirt.

Yep ..I'm grabbing the air...seen videos where they're getting 4 plus inches.... Didn't no if there was something wrong with mine

I would think grabbing in the air would be the same as racheting could be wrong though.

Grabbing in the air will reset it to max sensitivity. Ratchet only lowers the sensitivity when it's near metal.
