Hi All,
Hit a couple of spots I have hit before. The Safari keeps finding them!!! It was a dime and wheatie kinda day. 6 mercs, 2 rosies, 16 wheats. The dimes were coming in at 5+ inches on most. The wheats were up to 10 inches. All but two of the coins were found in the yard I have been hitting since last summer were I found the 1891 IH. I went diagonally and it really paid off. Only found 22 clad coins all day. Very little trash in this yard.
The 2 spoons and bird tag were yesterdays finds. Both spoons were deep, the silver one was under a root. The full spoon rang up like a nickel. Hard to believe that I missed it the last few times I have been there. I know my coil swept over that area.
I am still researching the bird tag. No luck so far.
I really like the 58 dog tax tag. It is labeled St. Petersburg. Nothing like a little local history. Found a newer one later in the day at my second site.
The shoe buckle ( I am assuming it is a shoe buckle) is a neat find.
Well that makes 18 silvers for the month so far. I am going to ride this train as far as it will take me!!
Thanks for looking and HH,
Bunker

Wow great hunt. looks like you have a hot spot. Keep on hitting it I sure there is more.....Matt

good digs :icon_thumleft: I always wanted to find one of those bird tags. :coffee2:

Nice collection of Mercs. :headbang: What kind of dates and mint marks did you get?

Awesome collection of silver!!!! :icon_thumright:

Well done. Been slamming away in Plant City area and finding clad. Still looking for the good stuff. Did find a 1947 Hillsborough Co dog tag, a 1920 and a 1925 penny behind a 1914 house and enough junk to fill a 20 gallon trash can. Looks like you have gotten a good place to search. Go to it.

That's a great spot and finds... Congrats :icon_thumright:

Safari is an awesome machine
great finds, Mucho Plata :hello2:

Thanks all,
Sorry about the late replies to your questions but I was in Alabama deer hunting before the season closed. (No deer)
The yard is a private home. Most of the silver I have found there has been from the 40's. One was dated 1926. I am confident that there is more there. I will continue to hit it!!
Thanks for looking,
HH,
Bunker

Looking for my Bird Band still I hear they will send you a certificate on the bird if you find one.
