Hi All,
Hit a couple of spots I have hit before. The Safari keeps finding them!!! It was a dime and wheatie kinda day. 6 mercs, 2 rosies, 16 wheats. The dimes were coming in at 5+ inches on most. The wheats were up to 10 inches. All but two of the coins were found in the yard I have been hitting since last summer were I found the 1891 IH. I went diagonally and it really paid off. Only found 22 clad coins all day. Very little trash in this yard.
The 2 spoons and bird tag were yesterdays finds. Both spoons were deep, the silver one was under a root. The full spoon rang up like a nickel. Hard to believe that I missed it the last few times I have been there. I know my coil swept over that area.
I am still researching the bird tag. No luck so far.
I really like the 58 dog tax tag. It is labeled St. Petersburg. Nothing like a little local history. Found a newer one later in the day at my second site.
The shoe buckle ( I am assuming it is a shoe buckle) is a neat find.
Well that makes 18 silvers for the month so far. I am going to ride this train as far as it will take me!!
Thanks for looking and HH,
Bunker
