...Three days on the beach just looking for whatever washed in...
Green thing in center of pic is an Illinois state quarter washed in with other stuff.
Shark tooth count at 65 and climbing...I have several bags of unsearched bone material. While I'm out hunting, I bag all the bone fossil frags without looking too closely at them...plenty of time for that later. I'm sure other tooth peices will turn up when I go through all the fossils.
Just an amazing collecting trip...rarely is my favorite beach this prolific...just got lucky and hit it at the exact right moment. I'll try to post more pics when I get the rest of the bones, string ray barbs and turtle shell sorted out. (All fossilized 2-5 million years old.)
