Like most of you, I have piles and piles of things that I've just put in a pile. I've been able to remove the majority of iron from my yard but what is all this stuff.

The first ID request is not made of iron, I believe they're lead. I have found 3 of them, all at different times. They're each at least an inch long and look to be fuses but I'm really not sure.

The second item seems to be made of bronze (?). It's heavy and appears to have a rim.

The third item is a long rod. It's heavy but I can't tell the exact shape-- if it's round, triangular, etc.

The 4th is a round piece that looks liked a con-caved lid.

Finally, I found 3 finials, all at different times, but I'm just not convinced they're from bullet pouches. The one in the center is a bit different at the bottom and one seems to have been painted black.

Okay, I'm laughing because after you said that I looked and it really looks like poop! I didn't meant to add those last few b/c the pics are of two different things that look similar in pics but very different in real life. The "poop" one is some sort of very large bent nail. The other is in the shape of a claw. Wondering if it's from a pair of sheers.

Your long rod could be a vintage screwdriver/ratchet driver bit............

I have some that are very long..................

Put the ones that look like bullets in a redox pain to test for silver if they are not magnetic. I am guessing lost pawns from a miniaturized chess set.

PIC 3 LOOKS LIKE A DRIFT PIN AND PIC 4 I FOUND THE SAME ITEM WITH A SMALL PEICE OF WIRE ATTACHED TO IT NEAR A CIVIL WAR CAMP ALWAYS WONDERED IF IT WAS SHELL RELATED. LIKE THE FINIALS.

First ones are "drive pin anchors" also generically called "red heads" The "finials" are spikes from a dog collar. No clue on the rest

The acorn shaped finials go on the end of rods for carpeting stairs- on the bottom of the risers.

I looked up the drift pin and I think you might be right about that one. As for Pic #4, I thought the same thing, especially considering I have found other Civil War items in my yard. I think I should clean it a little more and see if there are any markings. Thanks for looking!
