Mysterious Ink Bottle

I found this ink bottle at a site that had activity from the 1850's until the 1930's. The remaining labeling says "ERAL'S ink BL". I have tried high and low to search on the Interweb to get more info to date this bugger to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
