Mysterious lead help!coin? seal?

I found this lead coin shaped thing it's raised alittle on one end, it's a fairly small piece, it's got an elephant shape on it.

It looks like a drachm coin out of ancient India. There are lots of varieties .. similar to this:

Bronze drachm (elephant left type), anonymous issues, Ishvakus of...

Elephant standing right, Brahmi letter Ma above / Disjointed Satavahana-like symbol. 15mm, 2.8 grams. Mitchiner NIS 614-615.
