Strange item I dug today is 37 pds. - 3.75 inches wide & 14.5 inches long, and It’s solid, no fuse.
Could this possibly be a shell? If not I’m thinking it’s for rock crushing. A vintage moil point chisel for a hydraulic breaker machine most likely. I don’t think it’s WW II, but anything’s possible. 😊
Context is a heavily contested battlefield area in Nashville, with sabot and shot mini bullets everywhere.

I added one more picture that contains my finds for June 2026. The big sabot pieces, Rifle Butt plate, and some of the fired bullets came from posted site. Getting too hot 🥵 to detect for next week or so n Middle TN.
