Anyone have any information on this coin? I think that it's silver. It weighs 25.9 g and is about the size of a silver dollar. I would be interested in the country of origin and the date. Thank you my most knowledgeable friends!

Looks like a Chinese Dollar dated 1914 - whatever it means. :icon_scratch: ;D
That's what Krause Coin Catalog says.

Just click on a pic.

the face on the coin is --- Sun Yat sen --- who lead the 1912 revolt that set up "nationist" china --the sun symbol on the other side is a "nationist symbol" --it was used during WW2 on the "flying tigers" wings --- the nationist wrere driven out by the communist after WW2 during a chinese civil war and they fled to the island of Formosa --where they set up the "country" of Tiawan --aka "the peoples republic of china"--- china claims they "own" tiawan due to their "victory on mainland china "--- but tiawan says they are a free and independant country .
