Found this last week before that awful snow storm hit us here in NY. Dime is for size comparison. Anyone know what this is for? Super high quality metal, bronze or brass or something copper based? Something made be think instrument but I bet I am wrong.

its about 1/16 to 3/32 inch thick, tongs are slightly curved, the dent on the right side is stamped so it protrudes on the other. It does in fact look like part of a pilot ignition now that you mention it
