I was outside digging in the dirt with my daughter kylee helping her make a sand castle and we found this! Seeing kylees face light up finding "real treasure" was awesome! I am certainly pooped as to what it might be though and dont really have a whole lot to tell her about her new treasure.
It is a very unusual key as you can tell and its exceptionally hefty, probably brass or bronze and possibly older likely mid 19 century?, never seen a key like it. I live in a historically older part of texas, in washington county brazos area. It has characteristics of several different types of keys in one. Wish i could figure out what that logo is, that would answer a whole lot about it i think. Looks like the last line of the W there on the right of it also forms the letter i.
Can anyone here help identify what this key is?
