🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Mystery spike

So this puppy was fished out of a 1950s-1960s farm garbage dump. Cool little bottle yard basically untouched until we found it. This spike is presumably from the same time period but what it was used for is a bit of a mystery. It does appear to be hand forged and is vaguely similar to a railroad spike but clearly is not. The tip of it is blunted and mushroomed a bit like it was driven into something harder than it. Anyone have any ideas or theories as to what it was used for?
