NA Pottery??

found this piece on a site where several people have picked up points and tools. Maybe just wishful thinking. Looks like its tempered with shell or quartz flakes. Thanks for the help

Is that a barnacle or something like it imbedded? My opinion... Mother Nature used sediment to form that piece.

Yes it is. I picked most of them off but that one was stubborn. I thought it was rather thick for a pottery shard, but was staying hopeful haha. Thank you
