MoSearcher: do a little research. There are shark teeth in Colorado, there could be shark teeth in MO. Not as unlikely as you may think. Tons come from the deserts of Morocco.

Actually you are both partially right, it is a tooth from a sand tiger shark, "Cahrcharias taurus", from the miocene epoch
