Here are a few of the artifacts found on my annual trip home. The only complete point found on this trip was found by my 11 year old and it was his first! I brought him to the bluff and he pulled it out in under a minute! That’s all I could really ask for. I hope he got bit by the bug even just a little.
I found the round millstone next to the point. A couple of bases that I thought I would find the other half of but the soil pile got moved in between visits. Possibly a graver. A chunk of pottery and my favorite find of mine for the trip, a quartz turtle back scraper. It has a purple ish hue to it as well, potentially low grade amethyst.
