Nascar oversight or intentional?

I was sitting at the Waffle House this morning (road warrior stuff again) with the USA Today newspaper from the hotel.

The piece just got me to chuckling-

You have to wonder if it's intentional, (NASCAR has a sense of humor)- or just oversight.

If Danica had a better team, motors, and mechanic, she would be winning lots of races. She is very consistent with the cars they give her to run. She is being kept in the middle of the field by NASCAR, and it's not right.

Saying she crashes every race is not only untrue, it's unfair. A lot of drivers in the middle of the pack get wrecked a lot. Look at her stats! She is a better driver than half the men on the circuit.
