Native American artifact?

Hello, I purchased this at an estate sale a year or so ago.
I purchased it because I thought it would look good on my coffee table.
The more I’ve looked at it the more I think it could possibly be an artifact?
What do y’all think? Any information would be great.

No it’s a rock

Possible artifact, it does look as if some polishing has been done on it, hard to say without holding it physically. The stone looks to be serpentine.

Yep - its a black rock

It is a rock, possibly serpentine or nephrite jade. Now the neprite jade is a long shot, do you know where it came from? That sometimes helps with ID.
