Hi everyone, new to the forum here. Hope everyone is staying healthy and safe!

Wondering if anybody here would be able to help me with this. I found this stone while out agate hunting, and upon further inspection it sure looks to me like not just your average stone. Looks to me like the edges have been worked, and if you look closely you can see a uniform impression near the center of the stone running from top to bottom that may be from the strap used to attach to the handle. Or....it could just be nothing. Any thoughts?

Should also mention this was found in an gravel/agate pit in Manitoba, Canada where the rock was apparently dragged by glaciers and deposited there during the last ice age. So if this is a native American artifact it could be quite old.

I don’t believe it is a NA artifact imo.

More pictures from several angles are needed to give a true assessment of your stone.

Looks like just a piece of Flint that was in a fire. Not seeing any work on it though.
