Hello. Ive been gone for awhile. Kids getting older with sports, working and picking.

I got this necklace, I believe it’s an old Navajo piece. I think the stones are actually coral on the necklace and wanted to see if anyone thought the same?

It old and most likely native American. But I've never seen coral that looks brown....I think it is a dark agate. Nice find!

Beach Kid! No idea on the necklace but good to see you post. This place has been a ghost town!

Not sure what you have BK? Maybe from the 70s ? and I do learn towards it as a authentic assembled by native American piece made with imported materials. Back in the 90s I was frequently traveling through the Gallup Grant's area and all the big tourists retailers had sold out to Persian peddlers and authentic Native made items had been replaced with import items of all kinds of real silver jewelry from who knows where.

Thank you. I guess we’ll see where it goes for!

That’s sad. I certainly learned a lot from this site over the years. Met some really good friends off of it too!!

I think the dark stones are unpolished jasper, Very cool looking necklace and I also think it would be Native American made are there any makers marks on the metal pieces.
