Naval button help

hi guys. A few month ago I found a button in my yard with my Ace 150 (a great metal detector).on the back of it it says Vanguard Corp New York. On the front of it it has an eagle with an anchor directly under it. the front also has a gold finish. What I would like to know is it's value, what year it was made and any other information regarding it .below are some pictures of it. Thank u for your time everyone!
