Navy button? from Resaca,Ga

Found this button today out in Resaca,Ga. Looks kinda like some of the navy buttons I have seen before but not sure. The back is missing and as far as i can tell there are no stars on it. Any info on it will be greatly appreciated,Jonathon.

Is there a CSN on the bottom? It looks tore up in that area? It could be a USMC 1812-1845 button.

I don't really see anything on it,but like you said it is pretty well torn up. Do you have a pic of the button you are speaking about armchairqb?
