Hey friends. So I have been fiddling with my t2 for a while now. I really want to learn how to disc out stuff the proper way and use all metal mode as well. I put it on all metal mode and I do a air test. A silver dime hits at about 8 inches with a faint signal. But when I bury it 8 inches down and go over it I can't pick it up... It's stuff like that that irritates me. Makes me really unsure when I go into a trashy area trying to sift out the goods from garbage. I know all metal mode is better then disc because it goes deeper. And I would like to start using it too but I'm so unsure about it. Any tips on e best way to set my all metal mode for best performance?

Fresh buried targets are not the same normal detecting conditions, your t2 should hit an 8 inch dime easily as long as it is ground balanced properly. As far as discing out targets the t2 seems to work best with little to no disc and use tone to pick what you want to dig. I notice a big difference how well mine works in different tone settings, delta pitch is slow to respond with target id while 2+ is much faster. I've tried running all metal but even in disc this thing finds pieces so tiny its crazy.

Lots of time involved in really getting to know the machine. Read read read read the manual. The all metal mode will go deeper but few of us use it in trash. In really heavy trash it is near impossible with the machines I have used and doubt the T2 is different. Wanting a T2 myself. Lots to how 2 stuff on YouTube. Check this one out.
