Just found out I have a 3 day weekend coming up for MLK day so I want to head out on a trip. Now I normally prospect feather river canyons where my claims are but would like to try a new spot somewhere near Middle Fork of American Forest hill area possibly, not afraid of hike but I'm not familiar with the area at all. Probably all claimed up but I'll look.
Anyone know of some unclaimed or public areas I can access? I'm going to start researching this weekend and get some fellow amigos together for a trip. If any one wants to tag along that's familiar with the area that would be great to. Planning to do some sniping with all these low water levels and such.
