I`m hoping some of the woodworkers here might be able to ID this wood. I cut it in the winter, so no leaves. I`ve never seen this before. The red is a soft sorta pithy stuff, its in these little valleys or dimples. I wont be able to sand it out,,,I`m thinking a hard bristle brush is the way to go. Any ideas on the wood??
