Need Assistance Identifying

These were all found in the same hole in northern va near the Potomac river, about 6 inches deep. I was told they are tent rope tighteners, or some kind of hollow punch tool. Help is greatly appreciated! IMG-7911.webpIMG-7912.webpIMG-7913.webp

Rope tensioner would be my vote.

I have not seen a rope tensioner made like that. That doesn't mean it isn't one. Are both ends open on the ones you found? I have found several metal rope tensioners at Spanish/American war camps. They look like this and were patented Nov. 30 80 (1880).
