Need experience in North Texas!

A friend and I hunt in North Texas (Cooke County). I have had a detector for a few years but haven't had enough time to use it much. I am pretty inexperienced and feel like I miss a lot of stuff when I hunt. I would like the chance to hunt with an experienced hunter(s) if possible. Thanks and happy hunting.
