Its the same item and I believe its brass

Just a wild guess - I have seen similar objects used in kilns to keep the pottery from tipping or moving. Bronze or brass would work as it melts a lot hotter than a pottery kiln needs to get. You'd put three of those around a round based plate or bowl.

But I don't find metal ones - they're usually ceramic.
