If anyone in the detector community has a Treasure Commander Si Robertson ground EFX detector they would be willing to sell me for parts please contact me!I broke my best friends detector and she loved this detector! I called the manufacturer but they do not sell parts. I broke the hinge that holds the display in place. See attached pics...

Can you BONDO or Grollia glue a hinge on it ?

I might have to try, I feel so bad. I will probably just have to save my money and buy her a new one.

How old is it and who did she buy it from, it may still be under warrsnty.

As old as it was and not able to buy parts for it makes it tuff.

JB Weld works great on most metal and plastic. I cracked the block on my '72 Road Runner and it actually fixed that!

I tried it on an exhaust manifold leak.It worked until it got up to temp, then melted into milk.
But for this little fix?J.B. weld should be a winner.good idea.

Those things were ridiculous cheap. I would love to see what you found with it.
