Oops. Twenty-five years ago I accidentally sold the 410 shotgun my father-in-law had made and given to my husband as a boy. It would do this wife's heart good to be able to retrieve that gun. My F-i-L passed in 1976, so it really is a treasure.
I sold it to a Church of Christ preacher from the south (maybe Texas), who at the time, 1988, was preaching in Monmouth, Oregon. I think his name may have been Jim. He bought my entire household so I could buy a travel trailer and go on the road with my guitar playing husband.
I know it's a long shot (pun), but no stone shall go unturned. Thanks for any lead.
