Hoping to get some help from England!!

Found today, but not in best of shape an 8 star medal celebrating Queen Victoria's 50th reign. On each starpoint it states: At 12 o'clock, (Born 1819), 3 o'clock ( Crowned 1838), 6 o'clock (Married 1840), 9 o'clock (Reigned 50 years). There is a hard to see image of her and states, Empress of India 1877. On the back it lists the British PMs during her reign: Melbourne, Peel, Russell, Derby, Aberdeen, Palmerston, Beaconsfield, and Gladstone on each starpoint. Why wasn't Benjamin Disraeli mentioned? He was her favorite PM. There is also a badge number Rd No 63540. Lot of info on such a small badge...Wish it was in better shape...

Any info on this badge would be appreciated...Thanks

Can't answer all your questions, but it was a fairly cheap medal/souvenir probably on a ribbon at the time. There are thousands of variants made by many companies in many types of metal (mostly low grade), very little study done on them as they have limited appeal over here.

To commemorate Queen Victoria's Jubilee, either the 50th in 1887 or maybe the 60th in 1897. the registered number would give the date it was designed. Hope that helps. Hutch. see link. Registered Designs
