Need help identifying glass object

Was out bottle hunting in the woods today and I come across this glass object. Quite heavy and it's purple in color. Thought it was kind of neat so I took it home. Coca cola bottle next to object for size.

Looks like the base of a kerosene lamp--

Maybe the base to lamp like digging said or a cake stand base
