Need Help Identifying Nickel Error

I can't get a picture, but this 1972 Jefferson nickel looks as though two holes about 1/16 in wide have been 'punched' into the coin, right over the 19 part of the date and just below it where Jefferson's hair touches the edge. I'm not sure if it is an error or post mint damage. When I say punched in, I don't mean all the way through, but only as deep as any design on the nickel.

I think pictures would be needed to determine if its PMD or an error.
Use google or ebay and find something similar?

Yes I can see it, but I (think) it's post mint damage. I could be 100% Wrong though.
