I'll jump right in here. I didn't know that treasure coins had only a certain look to them. What I mean is, I guess there is only one design. With that said my only other reply is notice what the poster's forum name is. ::)
 

"TheJoker" ? First post ever ? OK... here's the answer to your question. Look closely at the coin in question under magnification. See the word "copy" stamped into it ? That means it's real. Otherwise they wouldn't have a bowl full of them for sale in the gift shop for 2 bucks apiece... :tongue3:
 

The stamping 'copy' stands for 'Con Oro Puro Yucatan" and denotes an extremely rare coin made only in one part of Mexico.
