Seems to be done in ink, there is his signature of "Mark Boyull" in the lower right hand corner. I tried running a Google search on the name but could not find anything on it.

Dimensions:

12 In Height
9.5 In Width

Any information about the artist would be nice!

Thank you,
Kot

It looks like an etching. The 9/25 means it was the 9th print of an edition of 25. The artist name could be Mark Bayerle. I couldn't find any examples of work by that name, but I did find an obituary for one that was a graphic designer.

Was this found somewhere around Chicago by any chance?

I'll try again. Was this found in or around the Chicago area?

Was found in Fort Wayne IN.

An other depiction of Jesus anointed by the sinful woman.

When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is–that she is a sinner.”

Don't forget, Jesus can hear your thoughts. :icon_pale:

It is not uncommon for artists to copy other art as a practice, learning different techniques.

Welcome to the forum from Niagara Falls. Sorry I can’t help with the ID.
