All Treasure Hunting
I recently picked this up at a garage sale for $20. I just want to know more about it. I've searched multiple tribal groups from South America to find something similar but I had no luck in finding anything similar. Hopefully someone else can find something on it for I'm very curious on it. I believe its platinum on the silver parts, due to it being heavy.
Thanks. IMG_0563.webpIMG_0564.webp

That is a depiction of Krishna (a Hindu deity, yours probably being of Chi-com or Pakistani production for the tourism market.)

My mother spent a year of her life in Nepal while preparing to scale Everest back in the late 70's. She came home with several shelf pieces like this, except they were handcarved out of hardwoods, and some worked out of jade (or malachite maybe?)

Im no expert, but i would not get your hopes up about "platinum" or anything else... I'd bet its silverwashed or given the good-old-fashioned "german silver" treatment.

Here are a few other depictions - besides the flute-like instrument, notice the identical garments and other similarities:

I agree with Tejaas but I believe the origin would be more towards Indonesia, maybe Bali or Jakarta
