Should read Operti's Ice Cream. Here is a tokencatalog link, looks like they are wanting a photo if you would share . Token was issued in New York.

Tokencatalog also lists it as blank reverse. The question now is, Who was S & T ? Possibly a retailer for Mr. Operti ?

Was this piece found in Utah? Long way for a New York token to travel...

I think the NY attribution is extremely iffy. Tokencatalog references Reiter's Dairy Tokens book wherein it says, "Attribution of this token of S. & T., Operti's Ice Cream, to New York City is from T. & S. Ice Cream Co., Inc., 8 Cannon Street, being listed in The Ice Cream Trade Journal, October, 1926." That is about the flimsiest attribution I have seen from the late Mel Reiter in that he totally ignores the Operti name. I'll do a little more looking as I can.
