Recently I was detecting at a local park and I dug the bullet pictured where an old tree had been removed. I have researched over a dozen sights with no luck identifying the make/model or even age of the bullet. Any help would be appreciated.
Rough Specs:
Weights 8.7 grams
Length .701 inches
Width .362 inches
Inner Diameter .18 inches

bullets are weighed in grains, so 134 grains. Hit something hard and lost some weight and probably made it a larger dia. than .358. I collect cartridges so an educated guess is a 38 special 158 grain round nose bullet. Nothing else close.
