My hunch tells me it might be man-made something?

Kinda hard to identify
Could be a mold for glass, part of a toilet bowl. Or very large serving bowl. Hopefully it wasn't both!! Haha.
Maybe some different pictures in different lighting will help.

Closer pictures would help as well as an estimate on hardness. It has aspects of being man made but I kinda doubt it as its not uniform enough and does not appear to be slag either. Not really glass and not an artificial granite.

Maybe a chunk of Marble that just been worn down over the years?

Off hand its a good guess Mrdigz. Bit sharp edged but there are some very fine granites that look like that. Looks to be closer to a chalcedony or opal if its natural. Wonder if there will be any follow on.
