can't help you with an ID but let me say they are 2 cool looking points...first one has beautiful coloring....almost looks like wood

The second one looks like a Buck Creek, but it may have a different name in Mississippi.

I take it that these are found on different sites? Any pottery or shells in the fields? Triangular points are usually later than others but the one with the shallow side indentations could be much earlier.

no, the corp.of enginers,drains it every year for flood control.and we go looking for arrowheads.
