I found a website, where I was able to zero in on certain counties.
The "map" was very plain, but when you hovered your mouse arrow/pointer over a tract of land, it told you the owners name and address.
Another poster posted this and I have been looking for the link to that website all morning.
I am sorry this is all I could remember.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

let us know if you fund it. would really like to check it out.
take care and be carefull out there. ron

I did find it again, it was a GIS website.
I would post the link, but I ended up just Googling Alabama then the county I wanted and GIS, so I was able to find what I needed, with the links provided.
I.e.: Alabama Winston County GIS

I think it's only for AL and GA...sorry.

Try the local county government web site for the county you are seeking. Most of them offer GIS mapping. And the resolution of their maps often surpasses Google Earth.
