need help......(now with pics)

Hi guys
Been diving in a local river and found a bottle that i can't find any info on.
Its clear glass, about 25cm tall and embossed with "W.H. THACKWRAY & CO YORK".
Will post some pics when the camera dries out (underwater housing leaked)

To give you an idea on the age,Thackwray WH & Co. is listed as a Wine & Spirit Merchant in York on Coppergate (street?) in 1901.Scroll down to Coppergate and you'll see him listed-http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/Misc/Transcriptions/ARY/York1901a.html.
