✅ SOLVED Need Help on Button

I just found the brass one this last weekend. Looks like a button, but not sure I was thinking a Cloak Button, big in front and smaller in rear. Also here is one I found about 5 years ago, made from a Quarter (1853) and Half Dime (1861) that was found in a known Gen Joe Wheeler Calvary camp along the Wilmington/Weldon RR in NC. What do you guys think?

That button next to the penny, reminds me of an envelope button and string tie down. Could have been mounted on leather and works the same way.

I think your button is a two piece snap button found on overalls and other style work clothes. I believe the small piece will come free from the larger piece. As for your other button all I can say is WOW!

I think i have figured out the brass button, looks like it is a USMC Denim button used around WWII so it was issued.
