Long story short-- 4 inches of soil scraped off empty lot down the street, found a few coins including my first old Chinese coin. I'd like to know where it came from, and I really want to know what year it was minted. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks...

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys. I think I found a match for my coin--

C269A (KM-313) Sheng Tsu (1661-1722)
Period: Kang Hsi (1661-1722)
Mint: Peking, Board of Public Works
O KANG HSI TUNG PAO
Coinage of Steady Prosperity
R BOO [in Manchu left] YUWAN [Board of Public Works] [in Manchu right]

White background is my coin, black background is the one I saw online. Let me know what you think...IMAG1043.webpIMAG1042.webpChinacoin1.webpChinacoin2.webp

Looks good. It is the only one to have the 4 dots at the bottom.

So cool...I never thought I would find a coin 290-350 years old in freakin' Saskatchewan!!
